We have a listing of all the Species of Items that have been found in the Woods.
From Amphibians to Trees

Our list has hundreds of things recorded in the woods under the following
Headings

Amphibians & Reptiles
Bats, Birds, Butterflies, Damselflies, Dragonflies, Ferns, Flowers, Fungi, Grasses, Lichens,
Liverworts, Mammals, Mosses, Moths, Shrubs and Trees. Plus other insects

You can look at the list and print off a copy so that on your visit to the woods you can look for new things.

If you find something NEW
Record the Day, Time and Location, and if you have a camera take a photo

Send us an E-mail of your find, the Warden can check your find and then add to the woods records

Volunteer Work Parties
These are very informal and tackle light tasks, I.e.path maintenance waymarking etc. In the  mornings from 9.30am till  about mid-day. Please bring suitable footwear and gloves. Secateurs and loppers are also useful. Coffee and cake provided !!! Also helps to keep fit !
